This documentary analyzes why Dia de Los Muertos (the day of the dead) is considered one of the most important cultural phenomenons in Mexican tradition. As well as the effects it is having on our traditions in Canada. We will examine the origins of the ancient Aztec tradition and the role it now plays in the mainstream media. Most importantly we will look at the sociological transformation that is occurring within the Canadian culture, proving that this is an evolutionary step in the traditions that will shape our young country.
